About the
Colorado Horse Park
The Colorado Horse Park is a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization. The purpose of the Colorado Horse Park is to showcase the history and heritage of the West using the horse as the primary teaching tool through hands-on educational programming, museum exhibitions, competitions, boarding and training, recreation, entertainment and therapy for all ages.
Welcome to our second annual CHP Eventing Derby. Please pick up your packets at the Secretary’s tent starting at 7:30 AM, located in the parking lot on the north side of Bayou Gulch road, which is where parking for this event will be.
Listed below, please find the Dressage Times. We will be starting with Elementary at 9:00 AM. After you finish with your Dressage round, you will be going to the Jumping Course and doing your Stadium / Cross Country Round. Starting at 7:30 am Saturday the course will be open for walking. We will also be walking the course between divisions.
For Stadium/Cross Country:
Elementary will begin at 9:10 AM approximately.
Beginner Novice will begin at 10:45 AM approximately.
Novice will begin at 12:45 PM approximately.
Training will begin at 2:00 PM approximately.
Preliminary will begin at 3:15 PM approximately.
The extra jump rounds will be at the end of each division. We will have a concession stand by the secretary’s tent.
